WHO WE ARE

You've just taken your first step on a journey toward empowerment and positive personal growth.

As a solution-focused therapist, my mission is to assist you in navigating life's hurdles. As much as we might want to, it's impossible to alter the past. We can't change difficult situations which have already played out. However, our joint effort can help you better understand and overcome issues that currently affect your life. Together, we will scrutinize deep-rooted behavioral patterns or negative views that may be preventing you from living a life filled with more satisfaction and meaning.

Do you find yourself facing a difficult predicament and in need of a helpful hand? Or perhaps you're simply seeking a fresh direction in life? Either way, I am eager to accompany you on your journey to overcome your challenges and realize your aspirations.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

“I've been a patient of Bernadette for around 4 years.  While Bernadette is a kind and lovely person, I most appreciate the perspective she's provided in helping me to rewire my anxious brain.  She's an attentive listener which I love because I'm a talker.  But what's most noteworthy is her ability to ask questions that reframe my default way of thinking, to help me uncover the side of an issue that I haven't fully appreciated.  Bernadette has allowed me to find more compassion and appreciation for the people in my life that I love.  More impressively, she's helped me find understanding for those I struggle with, which is arguably the harder task.  I've never felt threatened or uncomfortable even when she gently challenges my world view.  I've only felt supported.  While real change is gradual, incremental, and hard to notice in the short term, I can confidently say that Bernadette has helped me move away from conflict and anxiety and instead toward love and acceptance.  I'm sure a version of me from years ago would scoff at the touchy feely appraisal of the outcomes of my time with Bernadette.  Yet I believe that's precisely the change that I've achieved with her guidance: the ability to appreciate the gray, squishy, meaningful difference between seeing the world through a lens of harsh absolutes, and to instead embrace the love that I've grown to have for myself and for others in my life.  I may not be able to hold a ruler up to that growth, but I am a more peaceful, loving, happy person because of Bernadette.  I greatly appreciate her skill as a therapist.  She's been a great fit for me, and I encourage anyone interested in a healthier version of themselves to give Bernadette a try.”
